Aside from public school productions, she has provided accompaniment for jazz musicians auditioning for ensembles at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, recorded with the alternative band District 6 and the progressive band Suspyre (led by fellow Spotlight teacher Gregg Rossetti), performed in Manhattan with the sontemporary music ensemble Newband, premeired works by many living composers including Matthew Rosenblum, and most recently (May 2009) appeared with the New York Flute Club at the Yamaha Piano Salon in Fifth Avenue. Annually, she plays keyboards for theatrical productions organized by the community group Talent Time in Bloomfield.
Christi received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory/Composition from the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University. In addition to required displays of her original works, her piece entitled "Phoebe and Hilaera" for microtonal instruments was presented at the Music Gallery in Toronto, Canada. Christi also attends courses at Temple Univer sity in Philadelphia designed for acquiring certification in teaching the Taubman Approach, a school of piano technique proven to prevent and heal injuries such as carpal tunnel in pianists.
